Ooks Claim ACAC Championship!

NAIT Captures Their 14th ACAC Men's Hockey

Championship

For the first time in 17 years, The NAIT Ooks Men's Hockey Team have claimed the ACAC

Championship with a 2-1 Double OT Victory over their rivals, SAIT.

We as an alumni want to send a huge congratulations to Captain Andy Willigar, Coach Serge Lajoie

and his coaching staff as well as the NAIT Athletics Director, Linda Henderson on working together

to put together an unforgettable season.

It is an extremely proud day to be a NAIT Ooks Hockey Alumni and we as a board want to make

sure each and every one of you celebrate this victory!

It's been a long time coming.... congrats to the Ooks!!!

Congrats goes out to TEAM AINSWORTH sponsored by Hudsons Taphouse for their victory at

2013 Alumni Cup!

Team Ainsworth: Marc Alain, Dan Pilling, Ryan Olynyk, Clinton Senkow, Chuck Beaulieu, Wayne Bosse,

Andrew Hore, Derek Damery, David Quaschnick, Jason Arsenault, Mike Gabinet, Lyle Mozak, Jon Jenner,

Jeremy McKibbon, and Chad Kirkland.

Kelly Ainsworth was an inspiration attending this years Cup after recently undergoing major heart surgery.

He thanked the Alumni at the AGM meeting..."Being part of an endless team like the OHAA really does matter

when it REALLY matters. It truly made things easier. It feels awesome to be part of a great day again at NAIT.

I put it in my alltime top 3 hockey moments and I didn't even play."

Big thanks to OHAA President Chad Kirkland for this hard work organizing another memorable ALUMNI CUP

and to Kelly Ainsworth for his bravery and courage. You are an inspiration to us all. We'll see you back in the

pipes next year!
